
Head over to the Events section on your PS4 to check out details for different Events and Tournaments, and to start creating your team. The initial batch of titles supporting Team Tournaments will be Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, World of Tanks and Mantis Burn Racing, with more on the way. Team Tournament functionality will kick off on October 5, shortly after the release of the 5.00 update. With this new functionality, you’ll be able to compete against other teams for prizes and status. Prepare to recruit the best players you know, because Team Tournaments on PS4 are almost here. We’ve already outlined a number of key features before our beta program started, but we wanted to share some additional features that are coming to PS4 with this update. you can use this when you replace the hard drive or if the OS is corrupted beyond repair.Our next system software update for PlayStation 4, version 5.00 (codenamed NOBUNAGA), is available now! This update introduces features like the new “Family on PlayStation Network” system, an enhanced Twitch broadcast option on PlayStation 4 Pro, and a variety of new features for Notifications, Messages, and much more. This update file will allow you to reinstall the system OS for the PS4. Enter the folder names and file name using uppercase letters.

If your PS4 console does not recognise the update file, check that the folder names and file name are correct. Select Update from USB Storage Device > OK. Select Safe Mode option 7: Initialise PS4 (Reinstall System Software). Start the PS4 console in Safe Mode: press and hold the power button, releasing after the second beep. Plug the USB drive containing the installation file into the PS4 console.

Download the installation file and save it in the "UPDATE" folder. Visit the PS4 system software update page and select the "Reinstall system software" section. Inside that folder, create another folder named "UPDATE". Using a PC or Mac, create a folder named "PS4" on a USB drive formatted as FAT32. Selecting this option should be considered as the last step when troubleshooting. Safe Mode option 7 (Reinstall System Software) will delete all data on your PlayStation console and will also replace the system software.
